MSO Provides telemetry services for the diagnosis of
heart disease and pulmonary disorders.
Please choose from the following:
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring: A 24
hour monitor that the patient wears at home and
performs scheduled blood pressure tests. The patient
is instructed to go on their normal daily chores, and
the unit automatically inflates a blood pressure cuff
and records the measurement. A detailed report is
generated by MSO which provides full statistical
analysis of the BP values.

- Holter Monitoring: Holter monitors are a 24
hour based service which provides continuous
monitoring of the patients rhythm. Holter monitoring
is a diagnostic tool aiding in the identification of
abnormal heart rhythms.

-
TTM Loop Monitors (Trans-telephonic monitoring):
Allows a patient to go about their normal daily
activities while wearing a small EKG recording device
on their waist. In difference from Holter monitoring,
TTM continuously records the heart rhythm and stores
the most recent 1-2 minutes in memory. In the case of
an event, a button is pressed on the device, and the
EKG pre and post even are recorded. The patient can
then go to any phone and transmit their EKG by placing
the device on the phone receiver. TTM is a diagnostic
tool.

- Telemetry @ Home: A wireless telemetry
device is place at the patient's home or at a medical
facility. The patient wears a small unit which
continuously monitors their EKG. Events (abnormal
heart rhythm) are automatically detected by the
system. A dedicated phone line enables the system to
communicate with the central station and to call for
help if it is needed. Telemetry @ Home provides
hospital grade cardiac telemetry at the patient's home
or at nursing facilities.

- Sleep Apnea Monitoring: Although not
exactly a telemetry device, the LifeShirt service from
MSO allows patients to go around their normal daily
activities wearing a special shirt that detects sleep
apnea events, even in the middle of the day. Rather
than perform a sleep study overnight at a sleep
center, patients can wear the shirt and perform the
study at the comfort of their home.
